Regular Tryout Fee is $60.
Late Tryout Fee (after July 4th) is $80.

New Registration Information:
We are using a new registration platform as of 4/15/20. You will need to create an account the first time you register for one our programs. After creating an account you can register for any program through that account. Only one account is needed per family. You will be able to view all programs you are registered for in one place as well as see your payment history.
What do I bring to tryouts?
All players are required to pay a non-refundable tryout fee of $60. A non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $500-$750 is required to be turned in at check-in. The deposit check amount will be listed by team prior to tryouts. Checks will not be cashed until a position has been accepted. Players should also bring plenty of water, wear athletic shoes or volleyball shoes, knee pads, athletic shorts. No jewelry is allowed and hair should be pulled back.
Tryout evaluations will be done using the Team Genius app. No paper forms will be used. Photos will be taken at check-in.
All players will also be given a tryout shirt with a number at check-in.
We will be doing uniform fittings at tryouts this year! Any player who misses tryouts will need to attend the make up fitting. The date of the make up will be posted soon.

Private tryouts are $100.

The tryout process will consist of a player evaluation performed by multiple coaches and directors. Each player will have an evaluation form completed during tryouts. Players are evaluated on skill level, coach-ability, attitude, effort, position, athleticism, and experience. We encourage new players to attend our pre-tryout skills clinics in May and June as well as our summer camps to give us a chance to get to know them prior to tryouts.
Information will be handed out at tryouts to take home. Directors will be available for questions immediately before the tryout begins and after tryouts conclude. They will not be able to meet during tryouts so they can evaluate players.
Once tryouts have concluded, coaches and directors meet to go over evaluations and collectively decide on team placement for all players. We also take into consideration parent and player's request for travel or non-travel. When team placement is finalized we will contact all parents either by phone or email within 24-48 hours. The position must be accepted promptly as your decision could effect others. Offers will start with the top team and move down through the other teams as offers are accepted or declined. Local teams in the 10s-14s age group may not be set until September. Spots will be offered but not a specific team. Travel teams will be set at tryouts. *This location may only have local teams.
Due to tryouts taking place each night and the number of players trying out, we will not have the time for individual meetings the day after tryouts. We suggest asking questions prior to the tryout, during the tryout meeting, or via email/phone call.
This season we currently have 48 club teams between our Magnolia/Woodlands and Kingwood locations which is also the plan for the upcoming season. We are expecting to add 6 teams at the Creekside location. Our goal is to provide a place for all athletes and if a player is not offered we offer a variety of other options to keep them involved in the sport such as a developmental program, a jr. high league, red shirt players, and private lessons.
Coaches will be named by tryouts and tentatively placed with a team. Please keep in mind that we continue to hire coaches from July until the start of club season and not all teams will have a coach placed in July. Revolution is always looking to hire the most experienced coaches and we want to make sure all coaches are a good fit for the team level and age group.
If your daughter cannot attend tryouts there are several options for a make-up. We will offer tryouts through our pre-tryout clinics prior to tryouts and will have a make-up tryout in late July and August. All players are highly suggested to make the actual tryout date for accurate team placement. Players who tryout at the pre-tryout clinics will not be placed on a team until after their age group tryout in July.
